About Us

Joey has been involved in real estate nearly his entire adult life. He purchased his first home at the age of 19 and currently owns many rental properties in the area. Being a real estate investor led him down the path of becoming a real estate broker. Joey obtained his license in 2005 and worked with Coldwell Banker and Fehrman Realty before opening the doors to Rider Realty in 2020. Joey has a passion for life, real estate and his community, he can talk shop for hours. Joey was born, raised and currently resides just outside of Patriot, a town he is determined to put on the map. Joey enjoys collecting vintage items, camping, spending time with his kids and is always looking for the next deal!

Donita first started in Real Estate with Victoria House Realty, and then went on to open her own company in 2002 where she was in business for 18+ years. Selling real estate allowed her the flexibility to be a full-time mom and have a full-time career. She closed the doors to her company and joined Rider Realty in 2021. Her interest in Real Estate started after selling her first home. The housing market has always interested her, and the 20 years of experience she has under her belt can help someone no matter the market. Donita’s biggest compliment is getting that call to help someone and knowing that they trust her to help them in their Real Estate endeavors. When she’s not busy selling, Donita enjoys family, friends, photography, hiking, biking, and traveling!

 Brad Baldwin is a hard-working realtor that exudes credibility, commitment, and determination. Brad has always had a passion for the real estate field while previously working in the farming, property preservation, and surveying fields. Brad is a Switzerland and Ohio county native spending his early years growing up on a dairy farm in Switzerland county and graduating high school from Rising Sun school system. Born and raised in the area, Brad understands and appreciates the many unique benefits of living in the Ohio River Valley with its unmatched beauty and small-town feel. Brad spends his free time boating on the Ohio river, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Brad is truly invested in the Ohio River Valley area. Brad is honest, energetic, and committed to fulfilling your real estate needs in his hometown community.

Will joined Rider Realty in February of 2021 as an associate broker. Prior to Rider Realty, he worked at Fox Farms as a farm hand and Fox Seeds as a sales associate. While he was employed at Fox Seeds he helped expand and grow their clientele. Will is a graduate of Vincennes University where he majored in Agribusiness and graduated with cum laude honors. He currently lives in Switzerland County on the same hay and cattle farm he was raised on. Will’s interest in real estate stems from his father and grandfather who both made successful careers in the business. When Will is not keeping busy with Rider Realty, you can catch him at the farm!

Marisa has been a Rising Sun resident since the age of 5! She was the recipient of the Lilly Endowment Scholarship in 2008 and achieved a BSBA from Indiana University. During her high school and college days, she worked many summers at the Ohio County Public Library, Ohio County Tourism, and Rising Sun City Hall. The real estate market has always interested Marisa and after purchasing two properties, she decided to pursue her license in real estate. She knows how to work hard to get things done and looks forward to putting her work ethic toward helping fulfill others’ dreams! Outside of the office, Marisa enjoys reading novels, bow hunting, camping, hiking, exploring, and making memories with her family!

Matt grew up on a small strawberry farm in Southeastern Indiana where he fell in love with the area. After graduating from IUPUI with a bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Matt returned to his hometown to work in the hospitality industry building relationships, showcasing leadership, and driving effective, innovative results. These traits now transcend to his career in real estate, delivering Hoosier hospitality and creative strategies in buying and selling. In his spare time Matt enjoys beekeeping, managing Airbnb’s, and traveling. Matt along with his partner has recently opened a boutique hotel in Madison, known as The Chandler.

Mike is a lifelong resident of Rising Sun, IN. His roots here are deep. Mike shares a love and commitment to his community and Southeastern Indiana. Mike earned his master’s degree in information communication science! With nearly 20 years of sales experience, his connection to his clients has created lasting relationships! Mike is the owner of Hoosier Stash Outdoors while also working as a senior sales representative for Fiserv Inc. Mike looks forward to helping clients find their forever home! Mike is client focused & results driven!

Vern was born and raised in Southeastern IN. He currently resides in Rising Sun with his wife! Vern earned his bachelors degree along with a masters from Ball State University! Vern worked in education for 35 years! Vern became a realtor in 1988! Before coming to Rider Realty, Vern worked for Fehrman for 18 years! Listing and selling properties is what he does best! Treating clients as family since 1988! When Vern is not working in real estate, he enjoys attending his grandkids school and sport functions!
